Addison Elementary School is located in Addison, Michigan. We are about halfway between Adrian and Jackson. There are quite a few lakes in our school district.
The elementary school hosts about 400 students kindergarten through fifth grade. We offer full day kindergarten as well as a developmental kindergarten program and preschool opportunities (Head Start and Little Panthers Preschool).
Our teachers are all highly qualified as well as all of our paraprofessional staff. We provide a full time behavior specialist to support our students. We work with our local intermediate school district (LISD) to provide support services such as speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and school social work services.
Our pick up procedures for Elementary students will look a little different this year. Due to Construction 🚧 the Elementary Playground parking lot will be closed to the public. Please see video below for specific instructions on where to pick up your students.
At the end of the day ALL STUDENTS will be taken to the Middle School/High School bus loop flag pole. All K-1 students being picked up will be assigned a paraprofessional and parents will need to PICK UP their student from the paraprofessional. Students in grades 2-5 that are pick up can wait for their parent to drive up to get them in the Middle/High School circle drive. (In the event of inclement weather, students will be under the high school entrance breezeway). If you have a student in kindergarten with an older sibling that you would allow them to be picked up from the paraprofessional, please let the office know. NO STUDENTS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE PARKING LOT UNSUPERVISED.
Thank you for your patience as we work to improve our facilities with our Panther Energy Project. 🐾
