Welcome!  I am excited to begin my 10th year of teaching, 3rd here at Addison.  I also attended Addison school throughout my K-12 education and couldn’t be happier to have the opportunity to be teaching at such a great school.
I earned my Bachelors Degree from Bowling Green State University with a major in Special Education in 2004.  In 2010 I earned my Masters Degree from Marygrove College with a major in Curriculum and Instruction.
This year I will be co-teaching in the high school.  “Co-teaching is a model that emphasizes collaboration and communication among general and special education teachers in the general education classroom.”  I will be responsible with providing accommodations to students who struggle in the the general education setting.
When I am not teaching, I can be found at various sporting events.  I love sports and when I am able, love cheering on Panther Athletes.  I also love spending time with my husband and two children.
“Ability is what you’re capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.” – Lou Holtz
