Welcome! I am excited to begin my 12th year of teaching, 5th here at Addison. I also attended Addison School throughout my K-12 education and couldn’t be happier to have the opportunity to be teaching at such a great school.
I earned my Bachelors Degree from Bowling Green State University with a major in Special Education in 2004. In 2010 I earned my Masters Degree from Marygrove College with a major in Curriculum, Instruction, and assessment.
This year I will be co-teaching in the high school. “Co-teaching is a model that emphasizes collaboration and communication among general and special education teachers in the general education classroom.” I will be responsible with providing accommodations to students who struggle in the the general education setting. I also am the Yearbook advisor this year as well the Key Club advisor for the past 4 years.
When I am not teaching, I can be found at various sporting events. I love sports and when I am able, love cheering on Panther Athletes. I also love spending time with my husband of 15 years and our two children.
