I joined Addison Elementary School in 2004 where I taught computers for 13 years before being named principal.
I have been involved with many different aspects of Addison Schools as I have been the Elementary Student Council Advisor, High School National Honor Society Advisor, Key Club Advisor, SADD Advisor, High School Class Advisor, Addison Mid/High School Parents and Teachers (AMHPS), Honor Guard Advisor, Yearbook Advisor, Coding Club Advisor, Robotics Advisor as well as the Addison in the Morning News crew advisor.
I am retired from the Army. I served 20 years active duty of which I traveled all over the world. I have earned an Associates Degree in Technology, Bachelors Degree in Education and a Masters Degree in Education Leadership (Certified as an Administrator). I have been nominated and selected the Veteran of the Year (2010) as well as the American Legion Teacher of the Year (2015).
I have been married to my husband Robert for 33 years and we have two daughters, Katrina and Wendy. We also have one granddaughter Emmalynn.
