Home for Classic Rock
WQAR-LP is a school-owned, student-run radio station at Addison HIgh School in Addison, Michigan. The station is a credit class and currently has 25 students enrolled. Students act as on-air personalities, assist with news gathering, promotions, music selection and fill most roles of a commercially run radio station. The station went on the air in 2012 and has been on the air consistently since then. Plans for the future include broadcasting Addison High school athletic events, community events, and fund-raising to expand the role of the station in the community.
