Dear Community Members,
On behalf of the Board of Education, we want to inform our students, families, staff, and community that the Board has officially begun the process of seeking our next Superintendent of Addison Community Schools.
We recognize the importance of selecting a leader who not only possesses exceptional educational experience and professional qualifications, but also understands the unique strengths, values, and traditions of our community. This decision is one of the most important responsibilities entrusted to the Board, and we are committed to conducting a thoughtful, transparent, and thorough search process.
We are seeking a superintendent who will:
- Demonstrate strong leadership and integrity
- Support academic excellence and student achievement
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, families, and community members
- Promote fiscal responsibility and long-term district stability
- Build unity, trust, and collaboration throughout our school community
- Bring innovative ideas while respecting the traditions and values that make our district special
Our goal is to identify a leader who will add value to every aspect of our district and help guide our schools toward continued success and growth. We believe this transition also presents an opportunity to strengthen community engagement and reaffirm our shared commitment to providing the very best educational experience for our children.
The Board of Education is committed to keeping the community informed throughout the process. We welcome stakeholder input and encourage community members to participate in opportunities for feedback as the search progresses.
